Suicide and Pre-birth Planning

5 Mar

In the Suicide chapter in my second book Your Soul’s Gift, I share the story of Carolyn, whose only child Cameron suicided shortly after he graduated from high school. Carolyn and I had a channeling session in which we spoke with Jeshua (Jesus). Jeshua began by telling us that suicide is never planned prior to birth as a certainty, but it is planned as a possibility or sometimes as a high probability, as was the case with Cameron. In other words, Cameron knew that he was taking on so much in this lifetime that a suicide was likely. He was willing to take that risk, and his loved ones agreed before birth to accept that risk as well.

One of the difficulties Cameron had while he in body was that chronic depression blocked his capacity to feel his love for his family. Jeshua tells us:

“While physically alive he could not feel his love for them anymore. When dead he realized the full extent of his love, and from the soul’s perspective this was a great breakthrough. The suicide forced change upon Cameron, and in his case it worked out well. It was a turning point for his soul.”

This is a radical yet powerfully healing perspective. Our society views suicide as perhaps the ultimate failure, and yet Jeshua tells us that from the soul’s perspective it can be a blessing. As souls our highest intention is to give and receive love. While in body Cameron was unable to feel, and therefore unable to express, the great love he held in his heart for his family. Now, in the nonphysical realm, he feels that love intensely, and for his soul that feeling is a triumph.

In addition to viewing suicide as a failure, we also tend to see it as a sin. Yet in the conversation with Carolyn, Jeshua tells us:

“From a spiritual perspective, there are no acts that are absolutely wrong or sinful. The deepest act of self-betrayal can lead someone into a state of inner clarity that may help forever. The darkest point may become the starting point for a new direction toward light. You see, spiritual evolution does not proceed in a linear fashion. It uses the polarities of light and dark to create dynamics and change.

In saying this I wish to take away the traditional judgment about suicide, that it is the gravest sin. God or Spirit does not feel that way. God has the greatest compassion for people who take their lives in despair. There is always help available for them on the other side. They are never abandoned.”

In the channeling session, we also spoke directly with Cameron, who confirmed that indeed he was not abandoned. Upon returning to spirit, he was greeted by loving guides, who nurtured and supported him through a process of emotional healing and through some very difficult conversations with Carolyn which occurred in her sleep state. Importantly, and contrary to what some religions teach, Cameron told us that he was never punished in any way for having taken his life. He did not go to some sort of “Hell,” nor did he wander endlessly in a limbo state. Instead, he briefly experienced some confusion and disorientation when he first crossed over (as he had been confused and disoriented when he suicided), but he quickly saw his guides, who escorted him “Home.”

And what of Carolyn’s healing? Since Carolyn has no memory of her pre-birth plan – just as most of us don’t – she quite naturally felt that she had failed Cameron. She was filled with guilt and self-blame, wondering what she could have done to prevent her son’s suicide. In response to those feelings, Jeshua shares with us one of the most important, startling, and powerful pieces of information I’ve come across in my research. He tells us, “Every suicide preventable by outside forces was indeed prevented.” What he means is that if the suicidal person has the slightest openness to changing their mind, the Universe knows, and the Universe stages an intervention. It could be something as simple as a bird flying by and distracting the person, or something as dramatic as an angel assuming human form and physically interceding. If you have lost a loved one to suicide, know this: There was literally nothing you could have done to save them.

You are not to blame.

You are not at fault.

You did not fail them.

Therein rests your healing. Therein lies your peace.

What is a Between Lives Soul Regression?

3 Jul

A Between Lives Soul Regression (BLSR) is a form of hypnosis designed to answer any questions you have about your life plan and purpose. The session begins with a series of physical and mental relaxation exercises. I then guide you into a past life. It’s almost always a past life that had a major impact on the plan for your current lifetime. That is, it sheds light on what you came into the current incarnation to learn and why that particular learning is important to you.

At the end of the past life, a portion of your consciousness leaves the body in the death scene and crosses back over to the other side. I know this sounds a bit ominous, but there’s really nothing to it. It’s easy, safe, natural, and gentle, and anyone reading this post has probably already done it many times.

After returning to our nonphysical Home, about 80% of clients are greeted by one of their spirit guides. The remaining 20% are greeted by a “deceased” loved one, multiple members of their soul group, an angel, an ascended master, or a spiritual figure of significance to them. Regardless of who greets you, you will talk with that being about why you were shown that particular past life and how it’s related to the plan for your current lifetime. We then ask that being to escort you to the Council of Elders.

The Council consists of the very wise, loving, and highly evolved beings who oversee your evolution on Earth. They know everything about you: the plan and purpose of your current lifetime and every past life you’ve lived. The most common questions asked of and answered by the Council are: What did I plan for my current lifetime and why did I make those plans? How am I doing in terms of fulfilling my plan? How can I better fulfill my plan? How can I heal? What did I plan with [insert names of family members, friends, romantic partners, and all other significant individuals], and how can I best help those people?

Here are some of the questions I’m most often asked about the BLSR:

What will the Council be like? Will they judge me? My clients consistently describe the Council as completely nonjudgmental and unconditionally loving. Many people say, “They knew everything about me – and they loved everything about me!” Clients report basking in the great unconditional love of the Council and how it’s unlike anything they’ve ever experienced in their current lifetime. On occasion I’ve seen the Council take a firm tone with someone for whom that is the best approach, but even that is done in a profoundly loving manner.

Will I remember the experience? Yes, you will. You are fully conscious during the process. In other words, a portion of your consciousness has the experience, while another portion of your consciousness remains aware at all times of who you are, where you are, who I am, and what we are doing together. Also, I record the interactive part of the session for you, so that you don’t have to remember all the details.

What difference will the session make in my life? That is very much up to you. You can choose to ignore what the Council tells you, or you can choose to apply their wisdom to your life. Often, after the Council makes a particular suggestion to you, I’ll prompt you to ask follow-up questions about how to implement their guidance.

What is the difference between a stand-alone Past Life Soul Regression (PLSR) and the past life portion of the BLSR? The PLSR is very good at providing insight into one specific current life issue of any kind. Sometimes a process known as abreaction occurs. That is, by experiencing the past life origin of a current life issue, there is partial or sometimes complete healing of the issue in the current lifetime. For example, one client, a man in his fifties, had lifelong pain of unknown origin in his left heel. Doctors had never been able to relieve the pain. In a PLSR this client saw himself as a young boy running through a jungle in India. He tripped over a rock, inured his left heal, and was permanently crippled in that lifetime. After the session the pain in his left heel was gone. A month later he wrote to tell me that the pain had not returned. While abreaction can certainly occur in the past life portion of a BLSR, that isn’t the primary intention. The primary intention is to gain insight into how the plan for the current lifetime was shaped by what happened in the past life.

What Is the Purpose of Catastrophic Events?

28 Nov

I’ve received more questions about the pre-birth planning of large-scale, “negative” events. Let’s take as an example the tsunami that hit SE Asia a few years ago. 100,000 people were killed. My understanding is that those souls hoped before they were born that the Earth would be at a certain vibration by a certain point in linear time. These souls agreed before birth that if it looked as though the Earth were not going to get there, they would give their lives in a large-scale, natural disaster, because they knew that the result would be a worldwide outpouring of love and compassion that would raise the Earth’s vibration to the desired frequency.

You may recall that this is exactly what happened. The governments of the world put aside their differences and cooperated to funnel aid to SE Asia. This outpouring of love and compassion raised the frequency of our planet to the level those souls had intended.

You’ve probably heard the expression, “Where you stand depends upon where you sit.” The tsunami is a great example of that expression. If you are a human who “sits” in the third dimension, then where you likely “stand” on the tsunami is that it was a terrible tragedy. If, however, you are a spirit guide who “sits” in the fourth dimension, then where you likely “stand” on the tsunami is that it was a great blessing to our world. Two diametrically opposed viewpoints, both of which are correct from the perspective of the observer.

As you look at the challenges in your own life, see if you can shift from the perspective of the personality to that of your soul. You will see your life in an entirely new light.

Remembering Your Life Plan

1 Mar

I’d like to share with you a beautiful and inspiring email I received recently from An, who came into a Knowing of one aspect of her pre-birth plan. An writes:

“Hi Robert, I have read both your books, and and your writings have truly resonated deep within my soul. I was drawn and guided to your work after a near death experience in May of 2014. It was such a strange experience, and I am still healing from it now.

“To give you a brief account, I was riding my bike and making a right turn at a very busy intersection in Montreal when I was run over by the four back wheels of an eighteen-wheeler carrying a 1-ton crane. Right when it was all happening I felt strangely calm. I knew it was unavoidable and relaxed into it (rather than tensing up, which would have killed me) and also invoked an emergency Reiki symbol that called in the energies of angels and ascendant masters to help me. I am an energy healer and very spiritual so I definitely had the tools to deal with this!

“After getting run over I never lost consciousness but instead stayed with the pain, meditating into it while everyone around me panicked, to the point that during the ride in the ambulance, I had to tell the paramedic watching over me to calm down. He was yelling my name to keep me “awake” because I had my eyes shut in meditation. I opened my eyes and told him to “please be quiet” as I was meditating and I squeezed his hand to let him know I was okay. I only lost consciousness when I reached the ER when they injected me with ketamine.

“When I finally woke up a day and a half later, after an 11-hour operation where I had 40 Reiki masters from around the world giving me distance Reiki, the first thing I felt (and it was such a deep knowing) was that I had planned it all. So many strange details about my accident make me certain that this was planned and that this accident was much bigger than me on so many levels.

“My recovery was miraculous to say the least… basically after 4 operations, I escaped with no spinal, organ or brain damage! They also told me they weren’t sure when I would walk again, but I began walking after 3 weeks. They told me I would be in the hospital for 6 months, but I was discharged to a convalescence after 5 weeks. I continued rehab at a special hospital but was able to go home only three months after the accident. I had a physiotherapist look at my x-rays and marvel at how strange it was that despite the weight of the truck that should have shattered my bones, only the outer bones were broken, as if something had protected the inner parts from being damaged. I had another physiotherapist who had been working for 40 years tell me that I was the most miraculous case he had ever worked on.

“The accident itself was extremely public, it occurred at one of the busiest intersections in downtown Montreal. And that day was also very different in that there was an event/protest happening, so the streets were full of people, including media, police and first response (so that the reaction after my accident was instantaneous). (A bizarre side note: one of my friends was three cars ahead of the accident in his own car and saw it happening and only realized it was me when he saw it on the news, I then ended up in the same rehab facility as his grandma, so he was able to visit us both at the same time lol). I also locked eyes with the police officer that came to my aid right before and as it was happening. I think the hardest part for me was seeing the terror and trauma in everyone as it was happening. I weirdly felt so much sadness in my heart feeling all that pain.

“Eventually though, I realized that everyone who was supposed to be there and the trauma we all experience was a part of a healing on a bigger scale.

“After the accident there was a lot of media coverage about bicycle safety and there was another protest planned on my behalf in solidarity for me at the site of the accident. A group of cyclists even staged a “die-in.” I was very touched, to say the least.

“I feel deeply that this accident was beyond me and happened not just for me to learn and grow as a soul, but was also meant as a huge activation and paradigm shift for everyone involved and the collective as a whole.”

Thank you, An, for sharing your poignant story with me and the readers of this newsletter.

I’m often asked, “How can I know if I planned a particular experience before I was born?” As A Course in Miracles tells us, “perception requires the right instrument.” Trying to perceive spiritual truths with the mind is like trying to perceive weight with a thermometer or temperature with a bathroom scale: it’s the wrong instrument. What is the right instrument? The heart. Simply, and as An shows us so beautifully, the heart.

A Soul Plan in Dying

27 Oct

I’ve been asked about Brittany Maynard and what may have been her pre-birth plan for the end of her life. She availed herself of Oregon’s Death with Dignity Law, and through physician aid in dying, ended her life in November of last year. On the day of her death, she posted on Facebook, “Today is the day I have chosen to pass away with dignity in the face of my terminal illness, this terrible brain cancer that has taken so much from me…but would have taken so much more.” Before she died she created the Brittany Maynard Fund, which works to legalize aid in dying in states where it’s now illegal.

Could Brittany’s end-of-life experience have been part of her life plan? And if so, why would a soul plan such an experience?

It’s important to understand that the soul can incarnate in any time period, location, and set of circumstances. So, if Brittany’s soul wanted to have an experience of protracted suffering at the end of a lifetime, her soul could easily have created that experience. For example, her soul could have chosen to incarnate in a time period in which there is no physician aid in dying. Or, if it were important for Brittany to live in our current time period, her soul could have planned circumstances in which she either would never hear of, or never have access to, physician aid in dying. Or, her soul could have planned for her to be someone – perhaps a very religious person – who would never avail herself of physician aid in dying.

I believe that Brittany’s soul knew she would have access to physician aid in dying and wanted her to have that access. Her free will decision as to whether to make use of such aid would be honored and respected by her soul and Spirit regardless of the choice she made. That said, I believe it’s very likely that her soul felt (before she was born) that the choice to avail herself of physician aid would be the highest vibrational choice.

Why would Brittany’s soul feel this way? What could be the deeper spiritual meaning and purpose?

One possibility is that Brittany’s soul sought both to cultivate and to model for others the divine virtue of courage. In this sense Brittany is a way-shower. The courage she showed is now part of her soul for eternity. Another possibility is that Brittany was here to teach that we are all the powerful creators of our experiences. She showed us that she was not a victim, but rather someone with power and choice. A third possibility is that her soul sought to teach that death is not to be feared. Our society views death as tragic, sad, and something to be delayed at all cost. From our human perspective such feelings are natural. From a soul-level perspective, however, death is a transition, a type of graduation – and perhaps even something to be celebrated.

In my view Brittany is a great lightworker.

Bruce Jenner’s Pre-birth Plan

4 Jun

I hope and trust you’re well.As many of the readers of this blog are outside the US and may therefore not be familiar with Bruce Jenner, I’d like to begin with some background.Bruce Jenner is an American who won the gold medal in the decathlon in the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada. He set what was then a world record for total points in the event. He became a national hero in the U.S., winning the James E. Sullivan award as the top amateur athlete in the country, as well as the Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year. Famously, his image appeared on the front of Wheaties cereal boxes. Many referred to him as “the world’s greatest athlete.”

Jenner has recently spoken openly in interviews about his sexuality, stating that he is a trans woman and that he has experienced gender dysphoria since his youth. (Jenner has said that for now he prefers people use male pronouns in reference to him; for that reason, I will do so in this article.) He is in the process of transitioning and has not ruled out gender reassignment surgery.

In the research I did for my books and in my work as a hypnotist, I have examined many pre-birth plans. I’ve found that we plan our lives in great detail before we’re born. We choose the location and time we will be born. We choose our parents, siblings, friends, teachers, co-workers, and romantic partners. We plan our challenges, both large and small. Given that, can it really be coincidence that “the world’s greatest [male] athlete” experienced gender dysphoria and now identifies as a trans woman? And if both of these experiences were indeed planned, why would Bruce Jenner as a soul have planned them?

We live in a period of accelerated spiritual awakening. Part of that awakening is a shift from body-personality consciousness to soul consciousness. Bruce Jenner is facilitating that shift in a profound and most courageous way. His soul is saying to us, “Look beyond the body to the eternal being within. See me. See my essence. I am soul. And so are you.”

In a recent interview, Jenner said, “What I’m doing is going to do the world some good. I would like to think we could save some lives here. Maybe this is my cause in life. This is why God put me on this earth — to deal with this issue.”

Thank you, Bruce Jenner, for your grace and courage. Thank you for helping us to awaken.

The Deeper Spiritual Meaning of Your Life Experiences

4 Nov

I explore the pre-birth planning of many different experiences in my new book, Your Soul’s Gift: The Healing Power of the Life You Planned Before You Were Born. In the sessions  we talk with people’s higher selves and spirit guides, “deceased” loved ones, and enlightened beings about the spiritual meaning and purpose of the major challenges we encounter in a life on Earth. Equally important, we discuss how one heals from painful experiences – and indeed, how the soul utilizes such experiences to catalyze healing.

How and why, then, do painful and even traumatic experiences come to be part of a pre-birth plan?

Let’s discuss one way in which such experiences occur. Almost all of us have had past lives in which we developed beliefs or feelings about ourselves that the soul knows to be untrue and therefore wishes to heal. Two of the most common false beliefs or feelings are that one is powerless and that one is unworthy or perhaps even worthless. A basic spiritual tenet is that there is no unexpressed consciousness. So, if either of these beliefs or feelings is within your consciousness, regardless of whether it is at the conscious, subconscious, or unconscious level, it will manifest in your life, sometimes in the form of a traumatic experience. From our human vantage point, this may seem harsh or punitive. The Universe’s intention, however, is to mirror you to you so that any aspects of self that are in need of healing will be brought into the light of greater awareness, where you may then set about healing them. This is one of the fundamental purposes served by life in a physical dimension.

At the most basic level, the pre-birth contract is the same for everyone: embrace and transmute all discordant (unloving) energies, including beliefs or feelings that are untrue (and thus unloving) toward self. Energies we have not transmuted from any life will come to us in this life so that we may do so. We all requested this opportunity before we were born; indeed, it was a prerequisite for birth into the physical realm at this time. This lifetime is therefore of primary importance in the cosmic calendar. We are here to integrate into the whole of our Being, and in so doing heal the remnants of, all unintegrated energies from all our lives, both physical and nonphysical.

When we resist any aspect of life, we resist healing, too. When there is a block in one direction, there is a block in every direction. Ultimately, then, the purpose of every life challenge is the same: to grant us the opportunity to embrace that which we have so far resisted. As well, every life challenge is healed in the same way: through an increase in the vibration of what we think, say, and do. Our experience of life is not determined by our life plan but rather by how we respond to that plan. Our responses—our thoughts, words, and actions in every moment—create our experience and potentially our healing. As we heal and learn life’s underlying lessons in a conscious manner, challenges that were planned as potentials in our lives either never manifest or occur in a more gentle form.

It is here that an awareness of pre-birth planning is profoundly helpful and healing. When we understand that at the soul level we planned our lives, then we know there is deep meaning and purpose to what occurs. When we know there is deep meaning and purpose to what occurs, it becomes infinitely easier for us to think, speak, and act in loving ways. As we respond to life in loving ways, our previous resistance becomes acceptance, our acceptance turns into receptivity, our receptivity grows into embrace, and our embrace is transformed into gratitude for the experiences that open our hearts and expand us as souls.
You have embodied on Earth at this time to heal by awakening consciously to the memory of yourself as soul. Your healing comes and is completed when you see the light of your soul and know that light to be who you truly are.

The Deeper Spiritual Purpose of Pets

4 Mar

The process of placing our energy within a body, and in so doing forgetting that we are vast, majestic, Divine Beings made literally from the energy of Unconditional Love, is akin to being struck on the head by a heavy tree branch and rendered unconscious, only to awaken with no memory whatsoever. What would happen if you actually had such an experience? All who love you, each member of your family, every dear friend, would come to your side and express great love for you. Though you would recognize none of them, their powerful outpouring of concern and affection would touch you deeply. You would conclude that only a truly loving person could be so beloved. And in that instant of realization, you would know, beyond any doubt, your true nature.

Such is the role pets play in our lives. In my new book Your Soul’s Gift: The Healing Power of the Life You Planned Before You Were Born, I share the story of Marcia, who chose before coming into body to be a dwarf. In this lifetime Marcia is but 1.4 meters (less than 5 feet) tall. Marcia knew before she was born that people would reject and dismiss her because of her height, and she chose this difficult experience to foster her spiritual growth. She then built into her courageous plan a safeguard: she would always have the unconditional love of her pets. These animals are part of her pre-birth planning session. Her future dogs (Dusty, Brutus), cats (Snowflake, Goofy, Willie), rooster (Crooked Beak), and horse (Cheetah) all pledged in her planning session to support and care for her even when her fellow humans do not. Because she also planned to be clairaudient in this lifetime, Marcia has always been able to hear her pets’ thoughts when they communicated with her.

Just as people with amnesia do not remember those who were in their lives before the forgetting, so, too, do we not recall the pets who were with us before we were born. Yet, our pets come to our side and express their great love for us, reminding us daily that only we who are Love could be so beloved. And they remind us not only that we are loved but also that we are worthy of love. When Marcia came home from school and cried over the cruel words from the other children, Dusty was there to tell her she was perfect, that she “could always come home, and I would be there, and I would love you.” Cheetah also reminded Marcia that she was worthy of love: “It doesn’t matter what they say. Look what you and I can do together! Get on! Let’s go!” And so they would ride like the wind, the smallest of children on the largest of horses, both free and safe, in love with life and each other.

Too, pets bring healing. Indeed, our animal companions are master healers, in part because they embody love in an entirely nonthreatening form. The clear absence of threat creates within us a willingness to receive healing. We may fear accepting love from another person, but Marcia had no such fear with Brutus or Snowflake. When Marcia’s mother lay ill in the hospital, Brutus, tail wagging and big ears flopping, was a healing balm for Marcia’s heavy heart. When Marcia’s mother returned Home, it was Snowflake who healed Marcia’s grief, saying, “My job with her is done. Now I need to take care of you.”

How do pets heal us? There is no greater healing power in the Universe than that of unconditional love. Yet, beyond unconditional love, pets heal by transmuting energies. Even when we feel weak and small, our pets still come to us for care and so remind us that we are strong enough, capable enough to provide it. Even when we are enmeshed in anger or blame, they sit joyfully at our side, radiating contentment and instilling peace within us. When we feel shame, guilt, or unworthiness, they look at us and see only perfection. Our pets see us as light, the light of which we are literally made, the light we knew ourselves to be before we were born. When we lose sight of our magnificence, they remind us of it.

Sometimes a loved one, even a spirit guide, will incarnate as a pet because it is the best, and perhaps only, way to share a lifetime with us. I have a close friend who planned not to have children in this lifetime. A soul she loves and who loves her dearly incarnated as her dog so they could complete the mother-daughter relationship they shared in a past life as Native Americans. Both had been healers in other past lives, and they continued their healing work together in the current lifetime. My friend often brought her dog into healing sessions with clients, many of whom commented that they felt healed by the animal’s presence.

Ultimately, whether it’s Willie reminding Marcia to have fun, Goofy caring for Marcia and so healing her grief after Snowflake’s death, Brutus teaching compassion and kindness, Snowflake modeling independence, or Dusty, Cheetah, and Crooked Beak loving a little girl who just needed acceptance and friendship, each of these animals came to Marcia to love her and to receive her love. When we choose to take human form on the physical plane, our primary intent is to learn how to give and receive love. We select Earth as the school in which we will learn this lesson because here there are teachers who have mastered it. We call them dogs and birds, cats and horses. Yet, Love by any other name is still Love.

A Great Shift in Consciousness

8 Oct

As I describe in my new book Your Soul’s Gift: The Healing Power of the Life You Planned Before You Were Born, a great shift in consciousness is now occurring on our planet. This shift depends completely upon those of us who are in body to raise our vibration, which means, quite simply, being the most loving people we can be. As we raise our vibration, Earth rises in vibration as well. Spirit guides, angels, loved ones, and others in the nonphysical realm can send love, wisdom, light, and inspiration to us, but we must receive and embody these gifts. The nonphysical beings who love and guide us cannot create a shift in human consciousness for us.

Victim consciousness—the belief that you have been victimized by a person, experience, or life in general—vibrates at a very low frequency. When we understand that we are the powerful creators of all we experience—even if we may not know how or why we created something—we move out of victim consciousness, raise our vibration, and, in turn, raise the vibration of Earth. If your intention is to contribute to the shift in human consciousness, know that moving out of victim mentality is a powerful and magnificent way to do so.

Victim consciousness is a false belief, one that has become part of our limited, habitual way of thinking. It has tempting secondary benefits: it’s a way to obtain sympathy from others and a means of bonding with others who also believe themselves to be victims. Victim consciousness and its secondary benefits are not to be judged, though. After all, it’s easy to believe what we have been taught, and natural to want support from, and bonding with, others. My intent is not to judge the choice to perceive ourselves as victims, but rather to clarify that it is a choice. The alternate choice is to come into remembrance of our identity and power as expressions of the eternal souls that planned the lives we now live, to know ourselves as the creators, not the victims, of our experiences. This awareness uplifts the entire world.

Victim consciousness tends to be self-perpetuating. If you believe yourself to be a victim, you vibrate at the frequency of victim and energetically draw to yourself experiences that will confirm in your mind that you are a victim. One key to breaking this cycle is to release blame, for blame places you vibrationally at the frequency of victim consciousness. We may more easily release blame when we take responsibility for having agreed to our life plans, and the personal stories of pre-birth planning in Your Soul’s Gift are intended to help you do just that.. Such self-responsibility is the fertile ground in which expanded consciousness and self-knowledge blossom.

Like victim consciousness, judgment resonates at a very low frequency. Judgment creates separation, separation creates fear, and fear creates most of the problems in our world. The current shift in human consciousness is in part a return to Oneness or unity consciousness, which is our natural state of being in our nonphysical Home. We cannot return to this state of Oneness consciousness if we are in judgment of, and therefore separate from, one another. An awareness of pre-birth planning makes it easier to release judgment of others, for then we come to realize that every life plan is birthed in love and founded on wisdom.

Society reserves particularly harsh judgments for people who have certain experiences such as homelessness, alcoholism, drug addiction, and AIDS: “She needs to get her act together,” “He isn’t really trying,” “She’s weak,” and “He needs to pull himself up by his bootstraps.” The judgments of people who have AIDS are particularly harsh: “He must have been promiscuous,” “She deserves it,” and “AIDS is God’s way of punishing homosexuals for being homosexuals.” Yet, in truth these experiences are planned before birth, and they are plans of boldness, plans many would not dare to undertake. When we understand pre-birth planning, our judgments evaporate and are replaced by an abiding respect and admiration for the courageous souls who face such challenges.

Judgment may, however, be a useful tool for gaining insight into your life plan. Ask yourself, “What trait do I judge most harshly in the people who are in my life?” Then ask, “What is the opposite of that trait?” In all likelihood, before you were born you wanted to develop and express that opposite quality. In regard to the trait you have judged in someone else, it is likely you had that trait in a past life, and it is certain you have that trait (to some degree) now. All judgment of others is cloaked self-judgment. If you did not have the trait you judge, you would either be unable to recognize it in another or you would not judge it if you did see it.

Because what we experience outside ourselves is always a projection of our inner reality, it is not possible for us to be in nonjudgment of another until we are wholly in nonjudgment of ourselves. Speaking nonjudgmental words and engaging in nonjudgmental actions are not indicators of being in nonjudgment. The one true indicator of nonjudgment is how we experience ourselves, for that is how we truly experience others.

Care must be taken here not to go into judgment of judgment. Although none of us enjoys being judged, we chose for good reason to incarnate in a time in human evolution in which judgment is commonplace. Simply put, judgment is a powerful teacher for us, and some of us learn best through the experience of being judged. That experience is an effective means by which to develop empathy, compassion, and many other divine virtues. The lives we plan before we are born are opportunities to develop and express such virtues.

Discover your life plan and the deeper meaning of your challenges

7 Jun

Many of you have written to ask how you may heal various emotional/physical issues or how you can discover your life plan and the deeper spiritual meaning of your challenges and relationships. These intentions may be fulfilled through a Past Life Soul Regression (PLSR) or a Between Lives Soul Regression (BLSR).

PLSRs are very good for “deletion” work. That is, many physical and emotional issues have a past life origin. By returning to the past life in which the issue originated, a process known as abreaction occurs. This means that when you re-experience the origin of the issue, it is “deleted” from or healed in your current lifetime. For example, I recently worked with someone who had experienced pain in his left foot for many years. In his PLSR he saw himself as a young boy in India running through the jungle. In that past life scene, he tripped, fell, and injured his left foot. After his PLSR the pain in his foot resolved.

BLSRs, which are longer sessions (averaging 3.5 hours), are profound spiritual experiences in which clients may obtain answers to life’s biggest questions, such as “What are my life purpose and plan?”, “Why am I experiencing, and how do I heal, this particular life challenge?” or “What did I plan with, and why did I choose, my mother/father/partner/child?”

In my practice, about 80% of BLSR clients are greeted by a spirit guide when they enter the nonphysical realm. Half of these clients then spend the remainder of the session talking with their guide, receiving answers to their questions, deeply helpful insights, and at times energetic healing. The other half are escorted by their guide to the Council of Elders, the wise, loving and highly evolved beings who oversee the cycle of reincarnation on Earth. The Council members often talk with the client in detail about their life plan, why certain people are in their life, and how relationships may be healed or problems addressed. Clients may ask the Council members any question on any subject.

Those who have experienced a BLSR often talk about the powerful and healing unconditional love they felt from their guide and the Council. And, as a client said the other day, “I had read and heard about this, but I didn’t believe it was possible to experience. Now I KNOW there is a plan for our lives and that loving beings oversee what happens here.” To hold this as a concept is one thing, but to actually experience it is potentially transformative.

PLSRs and BLSRs can both be life-changing experiences. For more information please visit the Spiritual Guidance section of my web site at www.yoursoulsplan.com or write to me at rob.schwartz@yoursoulsplan.com.
